Best wishes to you all for the upcoming holiday season.

Never have I wanted to hear the word "No" so much. Please can you take 2 seconds to visit the following website to vote AGAINST a captive dolphin facility being established in the Cayman Islands. Hopefully, if the bid is unsuccessful it will also make other people looking to establish such attractions think again.

For those of you who don't want to read my soapbox lecture then please quickly go to [link] and scroll to the bottom of the page to vote. (If you are FOR torturing helpless, yet exceedingly intelligent animals, then please forget you ever read this!)

I have been a spokesperson for the Whale & Dolphin Conservation Society for some years now, and I promise you that my opinion is well informed (from both sides of the story), so please believe what I tell you on this issue. When marine mammals are captured in the wild it causes enormous negative impact not only on the animals seized, but also to the pod that is left behind. Many die in the capture process, and 10% of all captured animals who make it as far as their concrete tanks or sea pens (these are hardly any more humane) will die WITHIN THE FIRST YEAR. You know how stress effects us humans, especially the impact on our immune system - well it's very similar for marine mammals. The WDCS's "Dying To Entertain You Campaign" has a lot of information about all of this. Visit [link] for more info. Yes, there are dolphins in captivity that were bred in captivity, but the per centage of these animals vs. wild caught is very small. Also, simply having them perpetuates the idea that it's OK. (The Cayman dolphins are NOT bred in captivity.) Any animal that doesn't survive as long in captivity as it would in the wild is obviously NOT suitable for captivity.

I could go on and on about this, but I fear I will lose you! Just go to [link] at the bottom of the page and vote NO. Please!! Help me to protect these beautiful animals which we seek to emmulate as freedivers. They need us as much as we need them.

Hi Seawolf,
Well,an appartment with fully equipped kitchen or a little summer house close to the sea.No in the centre of a town or a village.They are too noisy.So rather in the suburbs,
There are 3 persons in my family.If there were a garden, it would be excellent/for making fish on grill/.A place for car
I think of spending there 4 - 6 weeks.Of course,all depends on price

It is high time to learn foreign languages.It is necessasy.

I speak Russian but I dont have Russian keyboard.Sorry.
But when I come to Bulgaria,I will drink something stronger and I will speak with you in Russian.
I can only advise you to use online translators Babelfish and Voila.

In Poland ,they are the same for foreiners.
So when you come here ,you go to the office,pay exactly 47zloties=abt 1.2 Euro and you have permission for sea waters so Baltic,some lakes nearby and estuaries of rivers.It is valid 1 year.

Regards to inland waters the same but if foreiner has a licence from his own counry he may spearfish without Polish permission.

Hi Petr,
So I see you like this map.I have a lot of map soft.I use it with really cheap GPS Bu303.
This is Bulgaria Topo map and program Map Source.
I have had Map Source for some years and Bulgaria Topo map can be found at emule.
The exactness is abt 1 meter.
If you have a problem to get soft I can send you needed maps.No problem.
On my page in Travels there are links to GPS soft

You can be sure that in Poland we have nice seaside but I prefer Black Sea and Med .
You must pass inland fish sizes,rules such as time ,kind of spear etc You can see all these rules at my page

In Poland a few weeks ago there was terrible accident in the swimming pool.THe boy was 12 years old and practiced himself.

So it isn as popular as in Bulgaria or Mediterranean countries.
First of all because of climate and cold sea.We have short summer.
The Baltic temp in summer is max 19C.Often rough and lots of currents.Coast is flat,no rocks only long sandy beaches.
But nice places can be found as well.
Fish are salmons ,cods,flounders,eels.
In lakes and rivers we have plenty of fish/Info on my page/
The best are pikes,catfish,zanders.....Sometimes really big
But in lakes it is dangerous because of legal and illegal fishermen's nets and poor viz.Usually no more than 4-6m.
Fishermen dont like us.Many people think that we are murders with big guns.And that it is so easy to dive and spear poor fish.
Spearfishing is legal if you have a licence.
Sea licence is very cheap and there is no problem to get it.
With inland waters licence there is a little problem.More expensive and you must pass an exam.And you must get the lake owner permission.
But it is changing for better.
